This is a moving account of a small ecumenical community based in Scotland in the second half of the 20th Century. Through the profiles of three of the community members huge gifts of generosity, idealism and personal sacrifice are demonstrated. It is the story of radical Christianity and shared discernment over many years and also includes the history of many other well-known communities such as L'Arche, Iona and Taizé with whom it was associated. This community had a lasting effect on those who visited or stayed and reading this account has something of the same effect.
